Strapless Bikini

If you often wear halter tops and sundresses in the summer, you know what a pain it is to try to cover up tan lines.  A strapless bikini is the perfect way to virtually eliminate all visible tan lines.  Some of you may be thinking, “Oh, I could never get away with a strapless bikini top!” but there are tops out there for nearly any body type.

The first place that a lot of women go wrong when picking out a strapless bikini top is the fit.  Most of these tops are designed to be worn snugly so that they stay put.  So, if you usually wear a medium in a triangle top, you will probably be more comfortable in a small strapless top.  The fabric is meant to stretch and hug your curves, not just lie over them as with some other bikini tops.  Whether you have a smaller chest or a larger chest, you will benefit from buying a top with the right fit.

There are different designs for strapless bikini tops, and buying the right one will make all the difference when it comes to how you look and feel in it.  A straight bandeau style top is a stretchy band of fabric that is all one piece and wraps around you like a band.  Variations of this will include a center break in fabric where an accent is inserted, such as the top seen here with an o-ring center, or a knot or twist at the center which help to accentuate cleavage.  Underwire strapless tops are also a great way to enhance cleavage, and they provide a little extra support when needed, too.

If you previously thought your chest was too large to wear a strapless bikini top, give these suggestions some thought.  With the right cut and fit, almost anyone go strapless!
